The George’s 174 Banquet
Facility is owned and operated by The Will County Carpenters Union Local 174.
This Spacious 3800 square foot banquet facility features two intricately carved
solid oak stationary bars with art deco mirror accents. A modern terrazzo
flooring offers the flexibility of an unlimited dance floor. Another
special feature is their 32-foot stage, which can be used for a two-tier head
table or entertainment. Dimmer lighting accents all the special timing of
each event.
With a capacity of 300 guests for sit down dinners or smaller
events as low as 50 guests this beautiful banquet hall is always privately
rented per event. The George’s 174 facility is an ideal rental
facility for any special occasion. The facility has hosted many memorable
weddings, political events, trade shows, charitable fundraisers and corporate
meetings. Although a non-smoking facility an indoor designated smoking
area is available. The talented event planners at Cutting Edge Catering
can design the perfect menu for your special occasion, from elegant sit down
dinners to elaborate buffet and cocktail receptions. Several levels of
